Agency Fees
Our flat rate fees below cover all of your childcare needs, with no hidden costs.
Referral fee $450
Also known as the “membership fee”, this non-refundable payment initiates your childcare provider search after your initial family interview. This referral fee is required in addition to the below placement fees unless you are paying a non-member Temporary Placement (babysitting) fee. Members are eligible for discounted Temporary Placement fees (rate table below).
Permanent Placements (part time) ~ 18% of the Caregiver's annual salary
Permanent part-time placements are defined as childcare arrangements that last 3 months or more, where the childcare provider works up to 30 hours per week.
Permanent Placements (Full time) ~ 16% of the Caregiver's annual salary
Permanent full-time placements are defined as childcare arrangements that last 3 months or more, where the childcare provider works 40+ hours per week.
Short-term Placement~ $3000 flat rate
Short-term placements are defined as childcare arrangements of at least 1 month in duration and not exceeding 3 months. Childcare providers may work full time (40+ hours per week), or part-time (up to 30 hours per week). Summer placements fall under this cost category.
Temporary Placement Daily Rates
Temporary care placements are designed for families who require immediate or future help on single occasions, or for extended periods of up to 1 month. This includes special events, date nights, last moment coverage cancellations, scheduling emergencies, and the like. Nounou Nanny locates and provides qualified babysitters who meet the following criteria:
Have clean background and reference checks
Have at least 4 years of childcare experience
Are CPR and First Aid certified
Are at least 21 years of age
Members who have paid the $450 referral fee qualify for discounted rates as noted below. Placement rates are paid directly to Nounou Nanny, and the hourly rate is paid to the babysitter providing childcare. Non-registered families may use our temporary placement service up to 5 times before becoming a membership client. The table below applies to temporary placements (babysitting) lasting no longer than one consecutive month.
Unlike permanent placements, where families hand-select a nanny over the course of 3-6 weeks, temporarily placed childcare providers are assigned to the family by the agency. Please allow at least 48 hours for us to locate and confirm a temporary babysitter for your family’s needs.
